Dave on Baseball and Softball, a view from Manchester

<body> <p>I've been playing Softball for more than a decade now, and through Softball I've also developed an interest in baseball. Softball is a great sport to be part of and I've had loads of fun over the years. My advice to anyone that is thinking of taking it up is to give it a go, you won't regret it. </p> <p> All the Softball I have played has been slowpitch, and 99% of it has been co-ed. The co-ed game has a unique flavour, and again if you don't try it you won't know what you are missing.</p> <p> There's a eclectic mix of stuff on this site.</p> <p> There are various bits of softball stuff, including some thoughts on how to be a softball captain, a little historical stuff about Baseball in the UK between the wars, and a little about British Baseball (not the same thing). </body>
