There was a brief attempt at playing indoor Softball in Manchester in the early 90's, followed by a long gap until I started organising sessions in the Winter of 2001/2. We played briefly at Newall Green School before moving to the Platt Lane Dome in Fallowfield where the sessions have been held ever since.
Allie Oxton took over as organiser for the next two (and a half) winters, and the sessions are now run by a small group of people from the Manchester league. Numbers have grown steadily over the years and indoor Softball is now a thriving oart of the Manchester softball scene.
